New history

Recently one of our members shared this article featuring our mosque published in 1937 by Time! We haven’t seen this one before and it’s an amazing glimpse into our early history. This was published just 5 years after settling in our building at 106 Powers Street in Brooklyn and it's interesting to see this piece from when we were the new kids on the block!

I’m happy to share that I was able to track down a physical copy of this issue on eBay and it is now on display in the mosque! You're welcome to peruse this and other pieces in our library.
